NYC has not had any snow but when it does, It also looks quite pretty especially this time of year when the holiday lightening is up. I think it goes up just before Thanksgiving. I noticed the rooftops. On Manhattan's upper East side, there are plenty of buildings with the same architecture. Yet this part of the city is probably post WW2 -the baby boom years. the older parts don't seem to have much left over from the Dutch or the colonial era. Just the street and borough names.
