Mistress of the Revolution picked as June 2008 Book of the Month at HistoricalFiction.org

Yeah! What an honor to see my debut novel chosen by a group of historical fiction enthusiasts!

And the best part of it is that I follow another French novelist, and not a minor one. Yes, The Count de Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas, is May 2008 Book of the Month at HistoricalFiction.org.

Dumas was an extraordinary person and writer, and will get his post here shortly. Now this brings us right back to a recent discussion on the literary merits of historical fiction, does it not?

Thank you so very much to the moderators and members of HistoricalFiction.org! I look forward to many exchanges with the readers there come June.

    Thanks so much, Marg.

What really blew me away was to come right after Dumas and the Count of Monte Cristo. I am working on my post on him to celebrate this!
