I think Jane Austen would be highly amused at the level of fame she is enjoying currently and the way in which her fans are showing their appreciation for her work. From what remains of her letters and the glimpses of her we get through her writing leads me to believe she had a quirky sense of humor that would allow her to enjoy it immensely.
