And another award: the Excessively Diverting Blog Award

Excessively Diverting Blog AwardFrom Jane Austen Today, this lovely award. It is a “new award for excellence for bloggers devoted to wit, style, the classics, and good writing.” I am honored, and I also love the blue-and-white cameo, which reminds me of Wedgewood jasperware. Very Regency, very Austenian.

Now here are the rules: Recipients, please claim your award by copying the HTML code of the
Excessively Diverting Blog Award badge, posting it on your blog,
listing the name of the person who nominated you, and linking to their
blog. Then nominate seven other blogs that you feel meet or exceed
the standards set forth. Nominees may place the Excessively Diverting
badge in their side bar and enjoy the appreciation of their fellow
blogger for recognition of their talent.

And now for my own nominees (a strong JA slant, as you can tell):

1.Jane Austen’s World

2. Austenprose

3. Grey Pony

4. Jane Austen in Vermont

5. Idolising Jane

6. A striped Armchair (not a Jane Austen blog, but Eva is a fellow Janeite)

7. Ellen and Jim Have a Blog, Too.

Visit these great blogs, and enjoy!

Thanks so much Catherine!! I’ve been trying a no-award policy on my blog this year, so that I don’t leave people out, but I have to talk about this one. It’s so perfect, and I was jealous of you when I saw it, until I discovered you awarded it to me. ;)

  2. Catherine Delors says:

Well, Eva, I am all the happier to pass it on to you then! True, it is perfect.

you deserve it for all your hard work. now if only that publisher of yours would get that second book out, i would have something to read on the NYC train system.
