I am disappointed for my readers, but such is life. This economy is affecting everyone and everything.
I am so sad about your book being pushed back-I was very much looking forward to it. :( Silly economy, anyway…
Well, Julianne, you are a great friend, and my source for the Renaissance. Did you hear? There’s a great new bio of Francois I coming out in France, and it is supposed to be wonderful.
You’re so kind, Catherine. Thanks for all the support!
Judith – Ever since I stumbled upon your Chenonceau blog, I have always found your blog outstanding, both for the pictures and content.
Cinderella – Well deserved! Yes, I would like For The King to come out earlier, but I think it may be a blessing in disguise, with the economic situation we have right now. All the more reason to forge ahead with Book 3!
How wonderful to receive this award — thank you so much!! I’m sorry to hear that “For the King” has been delayed, but I know it’s worth waiting for.
Thank you so much Catherine for this most appreciated award! I feel so honored to be mentioned in this company and by you of all people. You can’t imagine how happy you’ve made my day! Thank you again :)
xoxo
Judith~
We will, Elena!
Thank you so very much, Catherine. With such good friends I think we will all make it through the hard times!
Julio, you’ll make me blush! I must say your blog had been on my radar for a while, and I loved your Amber Room post. I look forward to hearing your impressions of Mistress of the Revolution!
Hello Catherine!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for the award. I am very honored to receive this from such an accomplished and successful author and blogger. Okay, I’m off to my favorite blog list to share this award. Thanks again.
P.S. I just finished reading a historical fiction(Tsarina’s daughter) which was very entertaining. I cannot wait to start reading the Mistress of the Revolution over the coming weekend and escape once again but this time to 18th century France.
De rien, Eva. Unfortunately, my publisher has pushed For The King back to 2010! The economy is just too bad right now…
Merci beaucoup Catherine! :) P.S.: is your second book still on-schedule for a March release? I can’t wait!
It is very much appreciated, Ana!
You’re most welcome and the award is very well deserved!! :-)
