In the footsteps of Gabrielle: an update on the ebook

It is shaping up very nicely! I designed a cover for it and formatted the existing posts. The ebook will probably be in PDF format, unless some tech-savvy blog reader (yes, there must be many of you out there) advises me otherwise.
I will post an entry about "dressing for Court" tomorrow, and from there we should have biweekly entries in the series. So that puts us at the beginning of July. Please don't tell me it's too long. Things are far, far slower in regular publishing.
This ebook, titled The Sweetness of Living, will follow Gabrielle from the beginning of the novel up to the onset of the Revolution. And then, will you ask, what happens? We don't care about her anymore?
Au contraire! I start another series about Gabrielle as she is engulfed in the storm, and that will be another ebook. Now I have learned my lesson and will go strictly in chronological order. Or so I believe at this time. Only fools don't change their minds, as Catherine the Great would say. Or was it Catherine de Medici? Anyway, some other Catherine, and I agree with her, whoever she is.

Very pretty! And it'll be so convenient in an e-book! I think it was Catherine the Great, because the quote's familiar to me and I know much more about Russian history than Italian. But I could be wrong. Good quote either way.

Very serviceable indeed. As far Catherine de Medicis, she was Italian by her father, but Queen of France, and her mother was a La Tour d'Auvergne. I have to check out the origin of the quote, though...
And thanks for the encouragement on the ebook!

I have taken another look at the posts I have in draft form. The ebook should even be ready by the end of this month!

Wonderful. It's so nice when authors do these sorts of things. Something to tide readers over until your new book next year!
