AP: Mistress of the Revolution could be one of the best reads of the year!
Fireworks again! Here it is, hot off the wire. Associated Press, the nationwide news agency, has just issued a review of Mistress of the Revolution. Getting reviewed by AP is in itself a major success: it means that the publication of my novel is deemed newsworthy.
But wait, there is more! Here's what AP says: In terms of entertainment value, "Mistress of the Revolution" holds up well against best-selling historical novels such as Tracy Chevalier's "Girl With a Pearl Earring" and Philippa Gregory's "The Other Boleyn Girl..." This is definitely a contender for one of the best reads of the year.
Wow! This wonderful, amazing, fantastic review has already been picked up by the San Francisco Chronicle.
What can I say? My head is spinning...
It will take me a while to recover my wits, but in the meantime, thank you, AP and San Francisco Chronicle!

I am awestruck. How incredible! To be associated with such writers... to be a 'best read of the year'... my heart just flipped for you!
